2013: ROUND TWO: BOXING's ADAM TRUPISH

ADAM "A-Bomb" TRUPISH: by Brian Zelley

As we start page two of the CANADIAN PROFESSIONAL BOXING story
of 2013 and beyond,  I pleased to have selected Canada's lone 208
Olympic boxer and now well established professional ADAM TRUPISH.
A nice start to this page
with this Boxrec piece.
And, our friends at
Boxrec have done a
great job of showcasing
the many active and
past boxers.  But, this
page is 100% ADAM TRUPISH.

Before we get into more detail of the story, it is important to thank Adam
back in 2011 for his positive words for PAUL P-mac MACKENZIE who
was preparing to leave the amateur boxing and make his pro debut.

Those now distant amateur days:
* One of the important highlights for Adam and Boxing Canada was
the lone champion that would compete for Canada in the
2008 Olympic Games.  For so  many Canadians we thank Adam for his
representation, despite the difficulty of being a team of only one boxer.
Adam, also was a member of Canada's 2004 Olympic boxing team.

Canadian amateur boxers have a
long road of Olympic boxing.

Some of our boxers have won
Olympic medals and many have
not, but the important part of
that history is for a moment in
time such as in 2004, the boxers listed were their for the team

For a moment in time, boxers
Andrew Kooner, Benoit Gaudet
Adam Trupish, Jean Pascal
and Trevor Stewardson  would
be there to represent Canada
and their individual provinces
home town and clubs for the
glory of Olympic competition.

* For Adam Trupish, this would
be one part of a long journey in
amateur and professional boxing.
As of 2013, Adam is still competing as a professional boxer with
some outstanding wins.  But to begin the boxing journey, we must
travel back in time to the Windsor Boxing Club in Ontario.  At
the Windsor club, Adam would learn from those such as long time
coach Charlie Stewart.

The Here and Now: Lights, bells and action
